D.C. Monuments
By Levi Wardell • Jan 12th, 2008 • Category: Washington D.C. Things to consider...
Description: Pictures of Washington D.C. have always been fun to create. The trick here, is shooting something that hasn’t been seen before. Even if you just want to shoot the typical sites, its definitely worth doing. You can get some great shots at the World War II memorial, Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson, and one of my favorites; the Korean War memorial.
Appropriate Equipment: Wide angle lens, telephoto, mono or tripod*.
*Don’t try to shoot from the fence around the white house with a monopod or tripod. You’ll get to chat with some nice fellas employeed by the treasury department.
Type of Photography: Architecture, scenic, historic, landscape
Best Season to Shoot: All 4
